What can be bought and sold in the village?

The inhabitants of the settlements differ from each other in their professions. This affects the products they offer and the items they would like to buy. For example, when you need some food, look for a farmer (a man in brown clothes). He is ready to buy grain and raw meat from you. To buy armor and tools, meet with a gunsmith (brown clothes with a black apron). He manages to sell blocks of materials: coal, iron, diamonds.

It is worth noting some of the goods offered in the village, which are extremely difficult to obtain by other methods. For example, this is a potion of experience, chain mail armor, enchanted objects.

How to start trading?

At first, each villager has only one trade available. By completing it, you will be able to access other trading offers.
After several transactions (from 3) on certain offers, this type of trading can be blocked. This blocking happens to all offers after the 13th trade.

Emeralds are the universal currency

When you need to buy something, stock up on emeralds. If you want to sell something, the villagers will also pay for your goods with green gems.

It is quite obvious that it turns out to accumulate emeralds by becoming a merchant. Exchange for "currency" objects and materials that are in demand in the village, and then spend it on what you really need.

Another way to get hold of gems is to get them from emerald ore. This material is found exclusively in mountain biomes at a depth of 4 to 32 levels. Such ore is considered very valuable and rare, as it is created in single blocks, and in the whole chunk (65,536 blocks) there are only 3-8 pieces of emerald ore.
