Troika card mobile application

The unified Troika card is a universal medium for paying for travel on public transport in Moscow, as well as for trips on the commuter train. Using this card you can visit cultural and entertainment centers and pay for other services.

For the convenience of customers, the Troika system offers to install the “My Travel Card” application on phones that support NFC technology. With this development, there is no need to have a plastic carrier with you; it is enough to lean your mobile device against the validator to pay for travel or entry.

Mobile application features

The My Travel Card application has the following functions:

• registration of subscriptions;
• replenishment of card balance;
• checking the status of the travel card account;
• access to the history of transactions carried out using Troika;
• provision of the remaining travel on purchased passes;
• linking any number of bank cards issued in Russia for the security of money transactions.

System requirements for installing Troika on your phone

Installation and correct operation of the My Travel Card application requires compliance with the following technical requirements:

• The mobile device must have the Android 4.0 operating system;
• availability of continuous access to the Internet;
• the mobile must support NFC technology;
• support for Mifare Classic technology, it makes it possible not only to top up the card’s wallet, but also to record subscriptions, otherwise you can only top up the card remotely and in the future be sure to confirm the payment through the yellow information terminal. Not all NFC-enabled smartphones support Mifare Classic; this needs to be clarified with the manufacturer or in the device instructions.
