Costs for purchasing or producing special clothing will be recognized tax authorities legal only if its use is based on the results of a special assessment of working conditions.

The cost of workwear is not taken into account when calculating personal income tax and insurance premiums.   • determining the possibility of using individual parts, parts and materials;
  • drawing up a write-off act and sending it for approval to the head of the organization or his authorized person;
  • implementation of control over disposal.

How to write off workwear due to expiration of service life

The organization's inventory commission determines the timing of write-offs on the basis of the Standard Industry Standards for Issuing and Inter-Industry Rules for Providing Workers with Special Clothing, Special Footwear and Other Personal Protective Equipment, approved by Order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia dated June 1, 2009 No. 290n.

Workwear is also written off from service on the basis of these documents (clause 26 of the Methodological Instructions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Finance of Russia dated December 26, 2002 No. 135n).

The calculation of the terms of use begins from the moment of actual issuance of the CO. There is no need to issue a return to the warehouse.
